GREENWICH, Conn. Hockey fundraisers, Dr. Seusss birthday and a pregnancy fair are some of the events planned for the weekend in Greenwich.
Friday
Greenwich Flower Show, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. The Green Fingers Garden Club of Greenwich will present its flower show, "The Nature of the Game," at Christ Church Parish Hall; free. Continues from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday.
Dr. Seusss Birthday Celebration, 3:30 p.m. Greenwich Librarys Childrens Services will celebrate Dr. Seusss birthday with a party and special reading of The Lorax," at the Greenwich Library Meeting Room; 5 years old and up; call 203-622-7940 for more information.

Visit Audubon Greenwichs Nature Education Center starting for a celebration featuring live animal shows, VIP summer camp registration, and Nature Store raffles. The store has been redesigned and stocked with new gifts, toys, feeding supplies, and more. Also enjoy arts & crafts, nature exhibits, and homemade bake sale. Come for all or part of the day. Hockey Jamboree, 4 p.m. Stanley Cup Winner and goaltender for the 1994 New York Rangers Mike Richter will join the Boys & Girls Club of Greenwich for a three-on-three Hockey Jamboree; featuring a live performance by The Zambonis, Greenwichs own indie hockey rock band; all funds will go to support the clubs activities and programs; cost of admission is $50 per family and includes general admission to the hockey tournament, the after-party with The Zambonis, and free skate rentals, food, and refreshments; call 203-869-3224 for more information.
