What's Happening Around Greenwich This Weekend

GREENWICH, Conn. – An art exhibition on the sea, the Greenwich Town Party and parades are some of the events planned for the weekend in Greenwich. Friday, May 25

Free Bruce Museum Docent-led Tours: 12:30 p.m. Tours last approximately an hour and are free with admission.

Art Greenwich at the SeaFair: All day. Grand opening hosted by International Fine Art Expositions, with collectable works from the 20th and 21st centuries. Through May Monday at Delamar Greenwich Harbor.

Saturday, May 26

Greenwich Town Party: 10 a.m. The second annual all-day Greenwich Town Party will feature music performances by The Wailers, Tedeschi Trucks Band, Kirk Franklin, Grace Potter & the Nocturnals and headliner Paul Simon. Local restaurants and caterers, a BBQ cookoff and family-friendly activities will be included. The party is currently SOLD OUT. Sunday, May 27

Greenwich High School Annual Home Run Derby: 10 a.m.-2 p.m. The Greenwich High derby will take place at high school, 10 Hillside Road. All ages are welcome to try to hit one out of the park. The event includes food, prizes and trophies. Admission is $20, and the first 25 entrants will receive a free T-shirt.

Byram Veterans Association Memorial Day Parade: 2 p.m. Downtown Byram. Free.

Ninth District Veterans Association Memorial Day Parade: 5 p.m. From Glenville Street to Glenville Road, ending at the fire house. Free.

Please Note: This weekend through Monday, the Greenwich Library will be closed. On Friday, the library will close at 5 p.m. and there will be no Friends Friday Film.
