Westchester Duo Face Drug Charges in Greenwich

GREENWICH, Conn. — Two Westchester men were arrested in Greenwich on multiple drug charges Monday night.

Police said they found Giuseppe Disalvo, 22, of 117 Harrison St. in West Harrison, N.Y., smoking marijuana inside a blue Honda Civic parked on Elm Street. Police smelled marijuana and saw a smoking pipe in the center console of the car.

Disalvo told police he was waiting for a friend, who was also the car’s owner, to return, but didn’t know where he was. Police were able to locate Christopher Andrade, 24, of 2 Merion Drive in Purchase, N.Y. During a search of the car, police found several bags of what appeared to be marijuana packaged for sale, and a 26-inch club.

The duo was arrested on charges of possession of marijuana less than four ounces, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana with intent to sell, and conspiracy to sell marijuana. As the car’s owner, Andrade was also charged with weapons in a motor vehicle. The pair were released on bonds of $2,500 each and are due in court June 27.
