Employees confronted Sheena Dume, 18, of 12 Castle Court, Stamford, and Philicia Desiree Alexandre, 22, of 12 Castle Court, Stamford, when they allegedly tried to take the merchandise.

The pair dropped the items and attempted to leave when police arrived and arrested them on charges of sixth-degree conspiracy to commit larceny and sixth-degree criminal attempt to commit larceny. Both were released on $500 bonds and were due in court Nov. 29.
