No weapon was displayed and no one was injured, officers said. Nunes left the store, police said, and got into a getaway car waiting on Greenwich Avenue. A Hispanic male was driving, according to the police report.

An off-duty officer saw the car and followed it to a parking lot on Dayton Avenue near West Putnam Avenue. The two men fled on foot with the officer in pursuit. He was being held on a $250,000 bond and is due in court on Sept. 30.

Police said they learned that Sarah White-Lebarre, 23, of 11 School St., Terryville, conspired with Nunes to commit the robbery. She was arrested and charged with conspiracy to commit robbery and conspiracy to commit larceny. She was being held on a $25,000 bond and is due in court on Sept. 30.
