Two Arrested With Stolen Car in Greenwich

A New York woman was arrested in Greenwich after police found a stolen car with gutters taken from a backcountry home undergoing renovations. Police scanned the vehicle’s license plate and found the car had been rented from a car rental in Rockville, N.Y., and never returned. Driver Elizabeth Rose Antonucci, 28, of 2644 Montauk Ave., South Merrick, N.Y., and her passenger, Robert Harmonay, 22, of 1688 Iranistan Ave., Bridgeport, was arrested on charges of larceny from a building.

Antonucci was additionally charged with larceny of a motor vehicle valued at more than $5,000, operating without a license and having a defective windshield. Harmonay was additionally charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. They were each held on $5,000 bond and are due in court June 13.

Also from the Greenwich Police Department:

• Two Greenwich Taxi drivers allegedly fought at the Greenwich railroad station taxi stand Sunday afternoon. Willio Fritz, 42, of 934 E. Main St., Stamford, and Jeffrey Serrano, 35, of the Bronx, N.Y., were both charged with breach of peace and released on a promise to appear in court June 13.

• Maximillian Kvetan, 29, of Las Vegas, who was wanted by Broward County police in Florida for grand theft auto charges, turned himself in to Greenwich police Friday. He was arrested on a charge of fugitive from justice and was held on $100,000 bond. He was due in court Monday.

• A Greenwich woman reported portable electronics, including cell phones, a global positioning system and a portable DVD player, were stolen from her unlocked car on Byram Road.
