Truck Gets Wedged Under Railroad Overpass In Greenwich

GREENWICH, Conn. — Debris was being cleaned up Tuesday morning after a tractor-trailer truck ran into the Steamboat Road railroad overpass in Greenwich on Tuesday morning.

The truck was removed from the scene at about 7:45 a.m. Tuesday, and the road was reopened, police said. 

It was unknown whether there were any injuries in the accident.

Motorists had been urged to avoid the area while crews removed the truck after the accident. The road had been closed for several hours early Tuesday morning, police said.
