Teen Prostitute Charged With Falsely Reporting Rape In Greenwich

GREENWICH, Conn. -- An 18-year-old woman from Texas has been charged with falsely claiming she was sexually assaulted because she was angry at a customer for not paying her for her prostitution services, Greenwich police said.

Chastity Angel Plummer, 18, of Lubbock, Texas, was charged with falsely reporting she was raped at the Greenwich Hyatt Regency Hotel. Police believe the woman, who admitted she was working as a prostitute at the hotel, was angry at not being paid.

Chastity Angel Plummer from Lubbock was arrested and charged with interfering with an officer, second-degree falsely reporting an incident and prostitution. She was held on $10,000 bond with a Dec. 22 date to appear at Stamford Superior Court.

Police said they were called to the Hyatt Regency Greenwich hotel Saturday afternoon by Plummer, who told officers she had been sexually assaulted.

However, an investigation by the Detective Division and Special Victims Section determined she had fabricated the "entire account of the incident," police said.

She also admitted to working as a prostitute at the luxury hotel, police said.
