Teen Arrested in Greenwich on Pot Charges

A Stamford teen was arrested Wednesday in Greenwich after police discovered marijuana and a multicolored smoking bowl in his car during a motor vehicle stop. Thomas Telesco, 19, of 49 Munko Drive, was stopped on East Putnam Avenue for not having a front license plate on his car, police said. While he was being questioned, officers smelled marijuana in Telesco's car. He handed over the bowl and marijuana that was hidden under his seat. Telesco was charged with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was released on a promise to appear in court later that day.
