Suspect Caught After Armed Robbery in Greenwich

GREENWICH, Conn. - A man suspected of robbing the Mobil Gas Station on West Putnam Avenue in Greenwich was arrested after the incident last night, say police, who gave the following account:

At 8:30 p.m., a suspect displayed a weapon and demanded cash at the gas station. He was given an undetermined amount of money and left the scene. No one was hurt and no customers were in the store at the time.

Greenwich Police Department patrol units caught the suspect later on in the evening and arrested him.
