Severe Storms Could Cause Flooding In Greenwich

FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. -- Increasing clouds will lead to heavy rain, thunderstorms and potential local flooding on Tuesday and Wednesday in Fairfield County, according to the National Weather Service.

Showers and thunderstorms will threaten the area throughout the day on Tuesday. Chance of rain is 60 percent. The high temperature will be in the mid 80s.

Scattered thunderstorms and heavy showers could produce localized flash flooding on Wednesday with a high near 86. Chance of rain is 50 percent. 

Expect sun to return on Thursday with a high of 82. 

Partly sunny skies should prevail through the weekend with temperatures in the 80s.
