See Space Station In Greenwich Skies Friday, Saturday Night

FAIRFIELD COUNTY, N.Y. – The International Space Station (ISS) can be easily spotted with the naked eye—if you time it just right.

As the ISS passes over Fairfield County the next few days, it will be visible to the naked eye Thursday, Friday and Saturday night.

According to astroviewer.net, the best time to observe the ISS is when it is night time in your location but sunny where the Space Station is. Such times tend to occur in the morning before sunrise or in the evening after sunset.

As the ISS passes over Fairfield County the next few days, the following times will provide the best chance to see it (in order of most visible to least visible):

  • Thursday, April 25 from 8:03 p.m. to 8:10 p.m.
  • Saturday, April 27 from 8:00 p.m. to 8:05 p.m.
  • Friday, April 26 from 8:50 p.m. to 8:55 p.m.
  • Thursday, April 25 from 9:42 p.m. to 9:44 p.m.
