DANBURY, Conn. -- A Danbury Hospital emergency room doctor accidentally broke a finger off a 600-year-old statue in a museum in Florence, Italy, while measuring his hand against the marble sculpture when it broke, according to a report on The Daily Mail website.
Patrick B. Broderick is a doctor of emergency medicine at Danbury Hospital.
