Along the coast, the National Weather Service issued a coastal flood advisory from 8 p.m. Friday through 1 a.m. Saturday, particularly around high tide at 8 p.m. Residents along the coast should expect tides to be at least 1 to 2 feet above normal.

Flash floods are also a possibility, particularly in urban areas and poor drainage areas. The National Weather Service has a continued flash flood watch through Saturday afternoon.

Between 2 to 4 inches of rain is expected to fall during this tropical storm and could continue throughout the weekend.

The rain should begin to slow Saturday morning, with high temperatures in the mid- to high 70s under mostly cloudy skies by afternoon. The rain should be gone by Sunday, with high temperatures hitting about 80 degrees under partly cloudy skies.

Unfortunately, showers are likely again on Monday and Tuesday.
