GREENWICH, Conn. -- A group of liberal activists will head to Greenwich on Saturday to stage a protest at the coastal mansion of billionaire hedge fund manager Paul Tudor Jones II, according to Crain's New York Business.
The protesters plan to wield signs and chant aggressive slogans, according to Crain's. One image features a photo of Jones with his head between a set of pruning shears, including the message, "Time to clip some hedges," the report said.
Jones, who has a reported net worth of $4.6 billion, is targeted for his financial support for Gov. Andrew Cuomo and the charter-school movement, Crain's said.
The group, a coalition of New York Communities for Change, Strong Economy for All and the Alliance for Quality Education, calls itself the Hedge Clippers, Crain's said.
