The crowd moved up and down Greenwich Avenue with signs and chanting slogans through megaphones, the Greenwich Time said.

They object to Jones' funding of Republican politicians and other actions that are at odds with the mission of his anti-poverty Robin Hood Foundation, the protesters told Greenwich Time.

One sign said, "Paul Tudor Jones, Robbing Our Hood, #Hedgeclippers." Another sign said, "Students Over Billionaires."

Jones, who runs a local hedge fund, has a reported net worth of $4.6 billion.
