Town Hall will reopen to the public in time for all of the meetings scheduled for Tuesday evening, including the Planning & Zoning Commission, the Selectmen’s Board of Education Charter Revision Committee and the RTM’s Appointments Committee, the town announced.

Because of an apparent transformer failure at the Prospect Street substation, Greenwich Town Hall lost all power – including telephone and Internet service — at about 1:30 p.m., according to a release from the town. At 2:10 p.m., the facility closed for business and most employees were sent home.

All earlier power outage in the town have been repaired, according to Eversource.
