Power Outage Closes Greenwich Town Hall

GREENWICH, Conn. -- Greenwich Town Hall is closed due to a power outage Tuesday afternoon, while hundreds of people through the town are without power.

Greenwich Police announced on Twitter that a blown transformer knocked out power to Town Hall, and that the building will remain closed for the rest of the day.

Eversource reported that 659 customers were without power as of 3 p.m., representing 2 percent of all customers in town.
