GREENWICH, Conn. — Police were looking for a man in his 20s wearing a brown hoodie and blue Yankees cap who held up the People's United Bank on Greenwich Avenue on Saturday morning. No weapon was displayed during the robbery.

The bandit went into the bank at 11 a.m. Saturday and gave the teller a note demanding money. He left on foot with an undetermined amount of cash. Police believe the man fled on Railroad Avenue. They said witnesses did not see a vehicle.

The suspect was described as 5-foot-9 to 6-feet tall with medium brown skin, slender build and a goatee. In addition to the Yankees hat and hoodie, he was dressed in a white T-shirt, brown pants and dark footwear.

Anyone with information should call the Greenwich Police Department at 203-622-8000 or 203-622-8054.
