Thomas F. Lane, a former Greenwich resident and past president of the Ancient Order of Hibernians, died Sept. 10. He was 67. Lane was born in County Limerick, Ireland, on Aug. 15, 1943. He was a carpenter with Local 11 in White Plains and enjoyed making people smile with his witty sense of humor. He lived in Edison, N.J.
He is survived by his wife, Margaret; sons, William and Thomas Lane; a daughter, Noreen P. Lane; two brothers, Paddy Lane and John Joe Lane; sister, Margaret O'Rourke, and two grandchildren. A Mass will be said Tuesday, and burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery in Greenwich. The Castigilione Funeral Home Inc., 134 Hamilton Ave., Greenwich, was in charge of arrangements.
