N.Y. Truck Crash Backs Up Traffic Into Connecticut On I-95

GREENWICH, Conn. — An overturned truck on I-287 in Westchester County is still blocking two lanes of the road — and backing up traffic into Connecticut early Tuesday evening, according to the state Department of Transportation. 

Traffic is heavy on I-95 South north of Davis Drive in Greenwich early Tuesday evening.

The accident is on the Cross Westchester westbound between Exit 12 for I-95 and Exit10 for Route 120a, DOT said. 

DOT was reporting delays on I-95 southbound for 8 miles from Exit 9 in Stamford/Darien to Exit 2 in Greenwich at the New York border, DOT said. 

The delays were continuing into the evening rush hour. The accident occurred in the mid-afternoon.
