NPA was recognized in particular for marketing efforts through community outreach, new consumer-friendly technologies and an innovative public art program, “Art in Parking Places”.
“The Norwalk Parking Authority sees parking as an essential piece of economic development, community vitality and sustainability as we seek to make parking a benefit and enhancement for area businesses and residents,” Julius Hayward, acting vice chairman of the Norwalk Parking Authority, said in a statement.
“The NPA’s marketing campaign, ‘We Have a Spot for You in Norwalk,’ ties in to our goal of making parking and the parking experience easier and more enjoyable so Norwalk residents and visitors can enjoy all that Norwalk has to offer.”
