GREENWICH, Conn. -- A part of North Street is closed in Greenwich Friday afternoon after a tree went down across the roadway.

Greenwich Police tweeted shortly after 3:30 p.m. that North Street is closed between Taconic Road and Dempsey Lane due to a large tree in the roadway. Three cars were struck by the tree, and there were minor injuries, police said.
