GREENWICH, Conn.Rumors have surfaced in backcountry Greenwich of that another mountain lion sighting was spotted on Aug. 4.
But police say there is no official record of any additional sightings reported since the Department of Energy and Environmental Protection released its findings in late July. The state announced the mountain lion that was killed on the Merritt Parkway in June was the same mountain lion that had been sighted several times during the past two years from South Dakota to Greenwich.
