FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. – The steadily increasing snowfall has prompted Metro-North to reduce rail service on the New Haven Line starting at 8 p.m. Friday until trains stop operating at 1 a.m. Saturday.

Trains will leave Grand Central Terminal every half-hour, with an hourly train heading into Grand Central, according to the MTA website

As the evening progresses, train service may be suspended, depending upon weather conditions, to prevent trains from becoming stranded during the snowstorm.

Trains are also scheduled to continue service to New Canaan and Danbury, unless conditions worsen. Bus service has been suspended through the duration of the storm.

See the attached file for the full modified New Haven Line evening schedule.
