The McDonald's at 321 Boston Post Road had a rare delayed opening after Tuesday's blizzard.

Frustrated customers were wandering around aimlessly about 9:15 a.m., knocking on doors to the Route 1 McDonald's. Others ditched their cars and walked across the street to Dunkin' Donuts.

A manager said the popular 24-hour restaurant was closed on Tuesday, too. They had reopened by 10 a.m. Wednesday.

Good news: McDonald's all-day breakfast meant customers could return for shamrock shakes as well as McMuffins, McBagels, McBisquits, McGriddles and other morning favorites all day long.
