Man Arrested For Protective Order Violation

GREENWICH, Conn. – A New York man was arrested in Greenwich Tuesday when he was found in a car with a woman who holds an order of protection against him, police said.

Rogers Ludwig, 25, of 87 Offaly Street in Amityville was stopped for having tinted windows when police found the woman had an outstanding temporary order of protection out of New York City, stemming from a domestic violence incident on Oct. 1, police said. The order said the driver, Ludwig, was not to have any contact with the female passenger.

He was arrested on a charge of violation of an active protective order and was due in court Wednesday. He was released on a $1,500 bond.
