Miguel A. Reyes-Pantoja, 26, is charged with grabbing the driver by the neck at about 3:15 a.m. and demanded his wallet, police said. He went on to cut the driver's neck and face with a knife, causing severe life-threatening injuries, Greenwich police said.
The driver was able to make a call for help via his CB, police said. He was rescued and taken to Stamford Hospital for treatment of his injuries.
Reyes-Pantoja was charged with first-degree robbery, first-degree assault and breach of peace. He remains in custody on $500,000 bond, greenwichtime.com reported.
