WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. -- Just days after a quick-moving storm produced 6-8 inches of snow accumulation, Westchester residents are likely to see an even more significant storm early this workweek.

The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Watch as what it describes as a major Nor'easter is predicted to impact Westchester and the tristate area.

The watch is in effect from 1 p.m. Monday until through midnight Wednesday.

Heavy snow and near blizzard conditions are expected with total snow accumulation of 10-14 inches  with visibilities of one quarter mile or less.

Conditions are expected to be worst overnight Monday into Tuesday.
