GREENWICH, Conn. -- The Junior League of Greenwich installed its 2015-16 board of directors.
The new president is Alessandra Messineo Long, a native New Yorker who joined the league in 2004 after moving from La Jolla, Calif. to Greenwich.
Long received the Spirit of the League Award in 2010.
She is a graduate of St. John’s University School of Law with a law degree; the New York University Stern School of Business with a bachelor of science degree and The Fashion Institute of Technology with an associate in arts degree.
She has previously served on the board of directors of The Dispute Settlement Center and Greenwich Ballet Academy.
Long has her own law firm specializing in corporate contract law and wills, trusts & estates, and lives in Riverside with her husband, Scott, and their children.
“The Junior League of Greenwich has a strong history and a bright future as one of the most impactful non-profits in Greenwich,” Long said. “I’m honored to work alongside the remarkable group of women who comprise our board of directors and membership.”
