Last Of Season's Three Full Moons Will Be Visible Over Greenwich Skies

FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. -- It may not look or feel like winter is coming to an end in Fairfield County, but it is. In fact, the final full moon of the winter season will occur Thursday, according to Earth Sky.

In the Northern Hemisphere, this final full moon is also referred to as the Sap Moon, Crow Moon, Worm Moon or Lenten Moon. It is also the smallest full moon of 2015, Earth Sky reported.

The moon will rise locally at 5:58 p.m. Thursday.
