Jury Sides With Greenwich Hospital On Employee's Free Speech Lawsuit

GREENWICH, Conn. -- A Superior Court jury ruled that Greenwich Hospital did not violate a former employee's right to free speech, according to CTpost.com.

The jury deliberated for four hours on a lawsuit brought by phlebotomist Isabel Modaffari of Bridgeport, who claimed she was forced to quit after she spoke to the FBI about finding contaminated vials, CTpost.com reported. 

Modaffari said she plans to appeal the ruling, which came on on Thursday, Dec. 19, according to CTPost.com.
