GREENWICH, Conn. – Jennifer Aniston and several other movie stars will pretend Greenwich and Stamford are parts of Detroit when an independent film shoots in the two towns in February.

The Greenwich Board of Selectmen approved the closure of Hamilton Avenue at Thursday's meeting for a day of shooting Feb. 11. The Two Door Restaurant will be featured in the scene, set in 1970s Detroit.

The movie will be shot throughout February in Greenwich and several neighborhoods in Stamford.

In addition to Aniston, the movie will star Academy Award nominee John Hawkes and rapper Mos Def as recently released from prison car thieves who team up for one last job. Aniston's character gets caught up in the scheme along the way.

The movie also stars Tim Robbins, Isla Fisher and Will Forte.

The movie, which has yet to be titled, is based on the novel, "The Switch," by Elmore Leonard. The book, published in 1978, is the prequel to Leonard's novel, "Rum Punch," which was the basis of the Quentin Tarantino film "Jackie Brown."
