Last Wednesday a 42-year-old Greenwich woman was arrested for vandalizing the car of her ex-boyfriend's new girlfriend. The new girlfriend had reported her car had been vandalized by Holly Matturro of 2 Putnam Court in Greenwich. Police say that officers determined a jealous Matturro had scratched the car with a knife. Minutes later, she was spotted in the area and arrested on charges of criminal mischief in the second degree and breach of peace in the second degree. She was released on a $1,000 bond and is due in court on Sept. 1.

Police officers repsonded to 128 N. Water St. Sunday during a fight between a man and a woman. The man, Enrique Vergara, 24, of 26 Hundley Court, in Stamford, had been repeatedly told to leave the home of Roseanne Librandi Cardillo, 23 when the argument turned physical. Witnesses said Cardillo attacked Vergaa and began hitting his head against the pavement. The officer saw Cardillo hit Vergara with keys in her hand and was immediately arrested. Vergara was transported to Greenwich Hospital for a possible concussion and lacerations to his face. Cardillo was arrested on charges of assault in the second degree and disorderly conduct and is being held on a $2,000 bond with a court date of Sept. 7. Vergara was also arrested on tresspass and disorderly conduct charges, but was later released on a promise to appear in court also on Sept. 7.
At a Terrace Avenue residence on Monday, a 19-year-old was arrested for breaking a glass picture frame over his mother's arms. The fight had erupted after the woman's 17-year-old daughter took a cable box card out of the son's television. He had wrestled with both his mother and sister on the floor before police reported to the scene. He was given a misdemeanor summons on charges of disorderly conduct and was to appear in court on the same day.
