  •  A 55-year-old man was charged with criminal attempt at murder and held on $1 million bond after he bludgeoned his wife with a baseball bat on Tuesday in their Greenwich mansion, police said.
  • A $2,000 reward was offered for information that leads to the arrest of a man wanted for robbing a pair of banks in Greenwich. The same suspect then hit two banks in Fairfield, police said.
