A hibachi dinner took a turn for the worse Tuesday leaving a man and two women dining at Abis Japanese Restaurant with burns, a spokesman for Greenwich Hospital said. The three patrons were splattered with flaming alcohol during dinner with their family, the Greenwich Time reported. It also said emergency medical personnel quickly arrived at the Greenwich Avenue restaurant.
A man in his 80s was hit the hardest with burns on the upper parts of his body, the hospital spokesman said. The victims were treated at Greenwich Hospital for minor to moderate burns, according to the report.
