Harriet Van Ingen, Was Active in Town

Harriet J. Van Ingen, an active member of the Greenwich community, died Nov. 6 at the age of 80. She was born in Rochester, N.Y. and attended the Sewickley Academy in Sewickley, Pa.

Van Ingen was a member of the Junior League, The Vincent Club, The Greenwich Garden Club, The Greenwich Hospital Auxiliary, The Christ Church Altar Guild and Community Answers.

She is survived by four sons, Judson, Scribner, Terrell and Langdon and nine grandchildren. A memorial service is scheduled Monday at 11 a.m. at Christ Church. Memorial donations can be made to the American Cancer Society.
