GREENWICH, Conn. -Riversville Road will remain partially closed through Tuesday after a passing truck caught low hanging wires and brought down a utility pole, police reported.
The road is closed between Sherwood Avenue and Porchuck Road while Connecticut Light & Power works on the line. No injuries were reported. By Monday night, 91 customers were without expected to have power back.
"The repair is complicated and will require an extended amount of time to complete," said Lt. Kraig Gray, spokesman for the Greenwich Police Department.
Connecticut Light & Power estimates the repair will be completed by Tuesday afternoon.
