A flat donation will be made to the organization from Meli-Melo, and 50 percent from art sales by New York-based mixed media artist Haile Binns.

Customers can share photos of pink wheat crepes, all natural pink sorbet, all-natural pink ice cream and freshly made pink smoothies with #GoForPink for a chance to win a $25 gift card.

The restaurant will offer a sweet, pink wheat crepe, topped with all natural strawberry sorbet and pink smoothie blend of strawberry, pineapple and banana, priced together at $13.50.

Additionally, the restaurant's Artist Program will support Breast Cancer Alliance with custom pieces made for Meli-Melo by Binns.

Each piece was inspired by a close friend to the artist who is undergoing reconstructive surgery following breast cancer treatment, according to a release from Meli-Melo.

"I created a few special pieces that features stitches to represent the recovery process," said Binns. "I named the collection, Reconstruction. I'm so inspired by the strength and dignity of women undergoing treatment; I currently have a close friend in my life fighting breast cancer."

Meli-Melo began supporting Breast Cancer Alliance with proceeds from the popular pink crepe in 2010. Since then, the eatery has expanded its location of more then two decades and has developed a thriving catering division.

"We are always happy to partner with a neighborhood favorite like Meli-Melo, and to have Haile Binns supporting our work is a wonderful addition to that partnership for this year," said Yonni Wattenmaker, executive director at Breast Cancer Alliance. "It is supporters like these that help to make our vision a reality.”

Meli-Melo's award-winning menus feature a wide variety of items, including gluten-free and vegetarian options.

The restaurant also has a custom juice bar menu featuring fresh smoothies and juices, a daily detox and shots of wheatgrass and turmeric.

Binns is an American artist whose canvases shows the beauty of nature through color, texture and movement, the release said.
