Greenwich Welcomes New Waterfront Park In Cos Cob

GREENWICH, Conn. -- The Town of Greenwich will hold a ribbon-cutting ceremony for Cos Cob Park at 1 p.m. Thursday, March 26.

Cos Cob Park is at 22 Sound Shore Drive.

Greenwich First Selectman Peter Tesei, the Parks and Recreation Department, the Public Works Department and the town of Greenwich community will come together to cut the ribbon on the newest waterfront park in town. 

The public is invited to enjoy a tour and reception immediately after the ribbon cutting. 

The park is the former site of the Cos Cob Power Plant. It is the future home of the town's Sept. 11 Memorial.
