Greenwich Teen Charged With Knife Threat

A Greenwich teen was arrested Friday on charges of disorderly conduct and threatening during a fight with another teen at Armstrong Court. The boy used a knife to threaten physical violence toward the other boy, police said. He also was reportedly yelling and swearing at other people in the housing complex. He was issued a summons and released on a promise to appear in court Tuesday.

? Umberto Guimaraes, 45, of 55 Waterbury Ave. in Stamford was arrested on DWI charges Saturday on Sound View Drive. Police said he was crossing over the double yellow line and entering oncoming lanes of traffic. He had alcohol on his breath and failed field sobriety tests, police said. Guimaraes was released on a $250 bond and is due in court on May 2.

? A 19-year-old Greenwich man was arrested Saturday on disorderly conduct charges after a domestic violence incident over a cell phone. He was arrested and released on a promise to appear in court on Monday.

? Frank Fleizach, 32, of 403 Greenwich Ave. was arrested Friday on possession of drug paraphernalia charges after Greenwich EMS responded to a report of a possible heroin overdose. Fleizach was found lying unresponsive on his bed. He was taken to the emergency room and given a misdemeanor summons after police found an exposed syringe, wax paper folds and bottle caps containing trace amounts of suspected heroin in his apartment. He is due in court on April 22.
