Greenwich Rx Fraud Investigation Reveals Warrants

GREENWICH, Conn. — Two outstanding warrants for a Stamford man were found while officers were investigating possible prescription fraud, Greenwich police say. 

Police said the pharmacist at the Walgreens Pharmacy at 1333 E. Putnam Ave. called them about Parim Vrzivoli, 31, of 631 Fairfield Ave. Vrzivoli was found to have two outstanding failure to appear warrants from other jurisdictions. He was arrested and released on $2,500 bond. He is due in court Feb. 29.

Greenwich police were continuing to investigate, but no further charges have been made.

Also from the Greenwich Police Department:

• Daniel Flores, 24, 397 Boston Post Road, Darien, was arrested after a two-car accident on Steamboat Road in Greenwich on Thursday. When police arrived at the accident scene, they found Flores attempting to drive his car, which was disabled from the accident. A second car was unoccupied. Flores failed field sobriety tests and was charged with driving under the influence and unsafe movement, police said. He was released on $250 bond and is due in court Feb. 24.
