The Greenwich Police Department mourned the loss of Officer Jim Genovese on Greenwich Avenue on Saturday, followed by a Mass at St. Mary's Church. The 20-year veteran died of a massive heart attack last Tuesday at Westchester County Medical Center.
Genovese was well known as the traffic control officer on Greenwich Avenue at the intersection near Starbucks. You can see Genovese at work in a Main Street Connect video made earlier this year.
