GREENWICH, Conn. ‒ Greenwich's Joe Lanoce has won big lottery prizes two months in a row at his local gas station. Lanoce won $10,000 and $25,000 playing lottery tickets at the Courtesy Mobil Greenwich, at 1129 E. Putnam Ave.

He won the first prize playing "$1,000,000 Jackpot," and the second on "$200,000 High Stakes Casino," the Connecticut Lottery says on its website.

"I've been very lucky; I bought both winning tickets at the same place," Lanoce told Lottery officials, according to the website. He said he was shopping at the gas station when he bought the second ticket because his wife had sent him out for milk.

"Like the last lottery prize that I won, the money will go toward my daughter's continuing college education," Lanoce said.

After taxes, his winnings on the $25,000 ticket came to $17,081. For selling Lanoce the $25,000 winning ticket, the gas station gets a $250 bonus from the lottery.
