Greenwich Man Arrested in Ex-Girlfriend's Bedroom

Daniel Gomez, 26, of 10 W. William St., Greenwich, was charged with violating a protective order after he was found hiding in his ex-girlfriend’s bedroom in Pemberwick, police report. The girl's parents told police Gomez forced his way through a window into the bedrom. Police said they found cocaine when police they searched Gomez’s car. He was also chraged with possession of narcotics. He was being held on a $25,000 bond and was due in court Thursday.

? David Schneider, 39, of 242 Locust Lane, Irvington, N.Y., was arrested Wednesday and charged with DUI. Police smelled marijuana and found a camera film container with marijuana and a pipe. Schneider was charged with traveling too fast, driving while intoxicated, possession of marijuana under four ounces and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was released on a $250 bond and is due in court on June 8.

? Joseph McGovern, 29, of 25 Circle Drive in Greenwich was arrested last week on drug-related charges. He was stopped for a cell-phone violation and police found McGovern had marijuana in his car. He was charged with possession of less than four ounces of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was released on a promise to appear in court on Tuesday.
