Greenwich Library Goes Bi-Lingual

The Greenwich Library is making learning a foreign language easier than ever for patrons. Mango Languages, an online language-learning system, was recently introduced to the library and is available for users on library computers or online through the library's website at home using their library card. The program offers 22 languages and puts users in real-life situations.

"This product fills a gap in our online database collection," said Stephen Schimdt, a Greenwich librarian. "We think that its ease of use and attractive interface will make it a popular addition to our language learning collection." Mango's learning system gives users a chance to speak full sentences and incorporates vocabulary and grammar into real-life conversations.
