The atmosphere was festive Tuesday night as Greenwich Republican Town Committee members celebrated the results of the primaries. They gathered at their victory headquarters in Cos Cob along with RTC Chairman Jim Campbell and Vice Chairman Steve Warzoha.
"This is a celebration of the amazing job our candidates did and all of their hard work," said Warzoha.
Though Linda McMahon and Tom Foley were not present, partygoers were exuberant as they filtered in, wishing one another well and enjoying the victorious atmosphere.
A projector set up in the middle of the room streamed results from News 12. The chatter ranged from the candidates to the November elections to the highly anticipated win for McMahon. "My main concern was reducing spending in Hartford," said Linda Moshier, RTC District 8 leader. Warzoha said he was worried about tax increases and anti-incumbency sentiment.
"I have been involved with campaigns for 20 years and I'm looking forward to the fall," said Moshier.
