Gas Leak Temporarily Closes Greenwich Ave.

GREENWICH, Conn. – A gas leak reported Tuesday morning near 283 Greenwich Ave. was quickly cleared, according to the Greenwich Police.

Fire and police departments responded to the scene at around 9:30 a.m. and closed off nearby streets while the gas was shut off, according to Lt. Kraig Gray, spokesman for the Greenwich Police Department.
