GREENWICH, Conn. -- Gabriele's Italian Steakhouse in Greenwich was selected the best "steakhouse in Connecticut" in a recent Business Insider story.
"The bone-in filet is a favorite with customers at Gabriele's in Greenwich,'' the story said about the restaurant. "(Customers) also rave about the excellent service and high-end decor. Pro tip: You can't go wrong with a side order of mac and cheese."
The restaurant is located at 35 Church St. in Greenwich. The menu, according to its website, "is a contemporary take on classic Italian and steakhouse fare – only better. The steaks are hand selected, prime beef, both wet and dry aged, seasoned with sea salt, crushed peppercorns and prepared with a custom built, high heat broiler which sears each cut to perfection."
The restaurant opened in 2011 and is owned by Danny Gabriele. The restaurant offers private dining and its wine room has more than 2,000 bottles. Click here for the restaurant website.
