Anthony Frascella, 30, of 9 Boulder Brook Road in Greenwich was arrested for driving under the influence. Police said Fascella had lost control of his car and swerved of the road in Bruce Park, hitting a small tree on Tuesday night. Officers detected Frascella had been drinking by the odor on his breath and police said he admitted to drinking earlier in the evening. Frascella was released on $260 bond and is set to appear in court on July 27.
Anderson Mark Perez, 21, of 80 Putnam Ave. in Port Chester was arrested on July 9 and charged with possession of marijuana under four ounces and possession of drug paraphernalia. Police said Perez was a passenger of a vehicle traveling south on Byram Road when the driver failed to stop at a stop sign. After stopping the car, officers said they detected the odor of marijuana after which Perez produced 2.5 grams of marijuana and an unopened Dutch Master cigar. Perez was released on a promise to appear in court on July 19.
Luis Francisco Lopez Carias, 19, of 516 Fairfield Ave. in Stamford was arrested on violations of improper use of license and registration, no car insurance, having an unregistered vehicle and operating without a license. Lopez Carias' car was stopped for not having a visible rear plate, police said. Upon stopping him, officers found he had no license, registration or insurance and that the temporary registration belonged to the car's previous owner. Lopez Carias was released on $100 bond and is set to appear in court on July 21.
